Dynamic Design
The design of the 2020 M4 Coupe is sturdy with a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic roof. Both models feature the kidney grille with twin slats, aluminum hood with powerdome, and a sport exhaust system with quad tailpipes and chrome exhaust tips. Roll down the hood of the convertible that features a power-folding retractable hood with window defroster.
The interior is similar on both models and features sports-inspired seats that are 14-way power operable, a 4-way lumbar support system, and adjustable seat width. Upholstery on the seats is a combination of anthracite carbon cloth and leather. The interior trim is composed of carbon fiber and black chrome highlights.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood of the 2020 BMW M4 is a 425-horsepower 3.0L BMW M TwinPower Turbo 6-cylinder engine that produces an astounding 406 lb.-ft. of torque. There are two transmission choices: a 6-speed manual or the available 7-speed M Double Clutch with DriveLogic.
The available Competition Package boosts the engine to 444 horsepower and increases steering ratio for better handling with Dynamic Mode. There are no spare tires, but drivers will be impressed with 18” performance tires. The lightweight design and powertrain allows the 2020 M4 to go from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds.
Innovative Technology
The 8.8” high-resolution touchscreen uses BMW Navigation that has 3D GPS maps, a 200 GB hard drive for audio files, and voice control. The Heads-Up Display projects your speed, selected gear, and shows your turn signals — all on your windshield so that you can get important driving info without taking your eyes off the road.
